Sharon Clifner is board-certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) who has over 35 years of experience in healthcare and medical research. In her practice she treats anxiety disorders, major depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, psychotic disorders, and PTSD. Sharon takes an innovative approach using genetic testing for patients who have failed prior medication trials. She is an empathetic listener and compassionate provider who cares for each person in mind-body-spirit and is dedicated to your successful outcome.

Background

Sharon is a graduate of Gonzaga University earning a Master’s of Science in Nursing (MSN) in 2014. Prior to attending graduate school, she worked in hospital administration as an internal auditor, director of risk management and quality, and as a rural nurse educator. She also worked as an RN at University of Washington Medical Center. She has an undergraduate degree in chemistry from Seattle Pacific University with 15 years of medical research and a medical patent in clinical testing to predict the onset of childhood diabetes through DNA testing.
