Ann MacLean, MA, LMHCA, EMDR

Make the first step towards a better you.

There are many different reasons that we come to therapy, but a common thread is that we come to therapy looking for help with something we haven’t been able to shift on our own. It may be a new development or something very old, we may not even know what it is. We’ve reached a point where we are ready to change but don’t know how. I really enjoy helping people explore how to move through life’s challenges into a life worth living, how to turn our challenges into strengths, and how to find some peace and ease and enjoyment in our life.

I have a Master’s Degree from Antioch University Seattle where I studied Mental Health Counseling and Embodied Creative Arts Therapy. I have a prior 2-year degree and certification in chemical dependency and addiction counseling. I am trained and certified at EMDR and specialize in treating trauma. I also have a wide scope of life experience prior to my training in counseling that informs my therapy practice.
